Meet Pat Andrew Peters, M.D.

Peters was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Haltom High School where he lettered in football and track. He graduated in the top ten in his class and earned All-District honors in football. Dr. Peters did his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Arlington and he received the College of Science Award. He attended medical school, interned in general surgery, and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University Of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then completed a one year fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. While in residency, Dr. Peters published several research articles and wrote an editorial for the Journal of Foot and Ankle. Dr. Peters founded North Texas Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in 1989. He is an orthopedic surgeon certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has served as team physician/orthopedic surgeon for several high schools and professional sports organizations. He has served as an orthopedic surgeon for the Texas Motor Speedway covering the NASCAR and Indy races. He also serves as a trustee for Dallas Christian College.
