Dr. Nathan E. Williams II, MD

Dr. Nathan Williams joined North Texas Orthopedics in 2011 and has become a valuable member to our team of doctors. Dr. Williams grew up in Asheville, NC along the beautiful Appalachian Mountains following his undergraduate work; he earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University in southern California. From there he went on to receive his orthopedic degree at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, while he trained in all orthopedic specialties with an emphasis in orthopedic trauma and hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty.  Research efforts during residency resulted in regional podium and poster presentations, Dr. Williams developed a special interest in lower extremity joint replacement during residency and elected for subspecialty training at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. While there he trained in the latest techniques in lower limb joint reconstruction and deformity correction.


Also at Scripps Clinic he conducted several research projects at the Shiley Center for Orthopedic Research and Education that have been accepted for national presentations and are pending publication.


Though not born a Texan, he has made it his home with his beautiful wife and children.
