Jennifer is originally from New Mexico; she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2002 with a minor in athletic training. She worked as a trainer in a variety of sports, and this is where her love for treating orthopedic injuries began. She then received her Master of Medical Science and second bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Naples, Florida, in 2007. During her schooling, she did a fellowship in the musculoskeletal department at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Jennifer has years of experience as an orthopedic physician assistant, and she has been board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) since 2007. She lives in Lewisville with her husband and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews as well as cheering for them during any of their different sporting events.
