Our COVID Guidelines

North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center continues to monitor and follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 guidelines.

Visiting Our Office

Wearing a face mask or covering is optional for both our patients and our employees. We continue to encourage social distancing and good hand hygiene in both locations.

In accordance with CDC recommendations, please call our office prior to your arrival for an upcoming appointment if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms within a 48-hour period.

  • Fever or chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • New onset of coughing
  • Diarrhea
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Sore throat

North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center offers virtual, telemedicine appointments. With telemedicine, you are able to interact face-to-face with your physician through video or virtual appointments. This approach enables patients to safely visit with one of the practice’s specialty-trained providers from the comfort of their own home or office using video conference and telecommunications technology, such as a smartphone or tablet with a video camera and microphone.

Through telemedicine, we can provide follow-up care for our patients as well as diagnoses and care plans for a majority of orthopedic injuries. This new, secure technology complies with federal health privacy laws and offers area residents accurate, high-quality orthopedic care without risk to themselves and others as well as the practice’s providers and staff.

We continue to closely follow updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
