  • Pain behind the knee
  • Pain in the kneecap
  • Severe joint pain

/ Our Sports Medicine Center and Joint Replacement Center Can Help You

At North Texas Orthopedics & Spine Center, our Sports Medicine Center and Joint Replacement Center were designed to provide our patients with comprehensive sports medicine and joint replacement education as well as exceptional nonsurgical and surgical care for a wide range of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including those relating to the knee.

When you are seen by one of our specialty-trained knee experts at either our Sports Medicine Center or Joint Replacement Center, you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest level of specialized knee care. Our knee experts offer the latest evidence-based treatments as well as advanced surgical techniques to provide patients with expert orthopedic care for the knee.

To provide an accurate diagnosis of your knee injury or condition, our doctors will assess your knee as well as ask questions about the knee pain you are experiencing. They may also order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, to help them better understand the injury or condition. Once they have diagnosed the problem, our knee specialists will work together to develop an individualized treatment plan that utilizes nonsurgical treatment options first instead of recommending surgery, such as knee replacement, meniscectomy, or knee arthroscopy. These treatments may include physical therapy or anti-inflammatory medication. If the conservative treatment options are ineffective at providing relief for your knee condition or injury, our surgeons will develop a surgical plan that is right for you.

If surgery is recommended for you, our knee surgeons are some of the most highly skilled surgeons and offer a broad range of knee surgeries. This includes the following surgeries and procedures:

  • ACL reconstruction
  • Cartilage repair
  • Joint arthroscopy
  • Knee arthroscopy
  • Ligament reconstruction
  • Meniscus repair
  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Osteotomy
  • Partial knee replacement
  • Revision total knee replacement
  • Total knee replacement
