Evan Powell, PT, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy dedicated to helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and return to an active lifestyle. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Evan combines clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach to deliver personalized care across a wide range of conditions and populations. Passionate about functional rehabilitation and long-term wellness, he is committed to empowering each patient to reach their highest level of performance and independence.
Evan grew up in Carrollton, Texas, and attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas, for his undergraduate studies. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Healthcare Administration and Psychology. During his time at Austin College, Evan spent three years conducting research in the psychology department and was a four-year starter on the football team, earning All-Conference honors.
Following his undergraduate education, Evan pursued his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Oklahoma City University, where he served as Executive Council President of his cohort and as an ambassador for the American Physical Therapy Association “PT Moves Me” initiative, helping recruit the next generation of physical therapists. While balancing his studies, he also worked with the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment to create comprehensive exercise and recovery programs. During his final year of physical therapy school, Evan worked with the physical therapy and training staff of the Oklahoma City Thunder during their 2025 NBA Championship season.
In his spare time, Evan enjoys traveling the world, spending time outdoors with friends and family, and reading a good book.
