“I had gone to a doctor downtown in Fort Worth and was very hesitant to get the surgery done especially with him. Someone recommended Dr. Williams to me and within 5 minutes of the first visit with him I knew he was the right doctor. I think I surprised him at how ready and willing I was to get the operation done without any convincing but he just made me feel instantly at ease about the whole process. I could not be happier about my new knees. Life is so much better without the pain and agony I was going through on each step. I can now walk up and down stairs with ease and even play golf getting in and out of sand traps. ( I know you shouldn't hit it there!) I can even play tennis and recently finished 5th out of 16 in my league. All of my tennis buddies remark at how much difference it has made. If you are hesitant then go see Dr. Williams he is the best!”
“Dr. Williams did total left hip replacement at Baylor Grapevine. He takes the time to explain the procedure. The surgery went very well. Dr. Williams stops by the hospital room post surgery to check on you. I have had minimal pain since the surgery. Was up and walking around the hospital room the day of surgery and was released two days after surgery. Great experience.”
“I underwent total knee replacement the first week in November 2015. Everything from pre-surgery paperwork to post-surgical final exam was flawless. I am still waiting for the post surgery pain that everyone said I would experience!! Dr. Williams and his team were phenomenal. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and experienced a "flare" during week 2 post surgery. I gutted that out without meds because I did not want to impact the perfect job that the team had done. Holli, Dr. Williams, and Tony responded immediately to my questions and concerns about the RA and associated issues, giving me strength and support to get me through that tough week and ensuring the most positive outcome. Dr. Williams is absolutely state of the art, a perfectionist, and extremely "soft tissue" conscious. “Dr. Williams is my miracle worker. At age 85, I am in need of 2 hip replacements. I heard so many bad stories about them especially for people my age. I was so nervous to have the surgery. Dr. Williams thoroughly explained the procedure, what to expect during recovery and how long it would take to get back to normal. His comforting words and expertise put my mind at ease. The 1st surgery was a great success. It has been almost 4 months and I am back to doing my daily activities pain-free. My other hip will be done this spring. I am now day 5 post op and because of his dedication to utilization of the latest technology, his networking with the healthcare professionals that share his vision and association with the best hospital in the Southlake/Grapevine area my post op pain, my level of care, and the attention to all details have surpassed what I would consider ideal. When the patient is not worried about or experiencing post operative issue he can focus on what is important.....healing. I cheated during this process. “Dr. Nathan Williams has conducted surgery on me three times. The first time he treated me for a life threatening infection that saved my life. After which I chose him to conduct my first knee replacement surgery. He did an excellent job. I recovered quickly with only a slightly visible scar. His followup was outstanding and caring.
Based on the results of the knee surgery, I opted to have my left knee to be replace 11 months after the right knee surgery. The results of the second surgery were even better than the first. My recovery was faster and the scar was even less visible then first. I can place no higher recommendation than say that you could find no better doctor than Dr. Nathan Williams. I now walk like a man again and I am enjoying the best quality of life at 64, which is far than better that I had to look forward to before any of my surgeries.”
