- “Dr. Williams performed a total knee for me in February. The pain associated with the surgery was very manageable. By week two I was off the pain meds. The home medical service along with the home physical therapy was quite excellent. I started outpatient physical treatment before my 4th-week post surgery. If you follow Dr. Williams instructions and walk and do your exercises, your outcome will be excellent. I'm a 71-year-old male, and I couldn't be more pleased. - “I fell on a Saturday evening, and after a trip to the er, was diagnosed with a broken hip. Having had both knees replaced by Dr. Williams with outstanding outcomes with both, goodness only knows why we didn't think to call Dr. Williams immediately. But we didn't. I was told and emotionally prepared for a hip replacement except that the trauma surgeon had other ideas. He attempted to repair my hip with 4 screws. I did not find out, and I assume my family didn't either, that meant 12 weeks no weight bearing. I lead an active life and have a busy job. Fast forward 3 months and nothing has changed. It is not healed. The trauma doctor says "3 more months non-weight bearing." I finally called Dr. Williams. He took one look at my films and knew that my hip was never going to heal as the blood supply was non-existent. I needed a hip replacement. Sadly, it was the Thursday before a holiday, and then the dr. was going on vacation. Making no promises, his staff said they would get me in as soon as they were able. My surgery was Monday (4 days later). He is calm, knows everything about a knee and hip replacement, and has a helpful staff. Though a surgeon in as high a demand as he is can have long waits for visits and appointments, he is worth the wait. I just walked around the middle east for the last three weeks. - “Dr. Llanos has been working with me for several years on my chronic back pain. He is a very caring Doctor who takes time to listen to me, and he goes into detail about our treatment plans. While performing procedures on my back he always talks about precisely what he is doing which I find most helpful and comforting. Recently, I have had some rather severe medical problems unrelated to the back issue, and Dr. Llanos personally contacted me at my home, after office hours, and discussed my health issues at length. You do not find many Doctors taking their valuable personal time to keep up with a patients entire medical issues as he did.
